Ceiling spits
2000 Gulfstream SunVoyger
Ceiling has dark brown spots from possible leak.
(Fixed leak) Have tried everything to clean ceiling.
Hydrogen peroxide
Dawn
Spot Eliminator
Wet Vac
When dry still have brown spots. Is this UNDER the carpet in ceiling?
How can I ever clean this up?
This form has helped so many times with other issues, hope someone can help here.

You will probably need to use a furniture/fabric/upholstery dye...doubt you can get that rusty color off.

I have used a mixtute of bleach and water (50-50) in a spray bottle quite successfully. Cover everything below spot so as not to bleach. Usually just let to dry, but you can lightly rub spot.

My guess would be that because a stain of that type, moves slow through the ceiling, there is stain throughout the whole thickness, not just the surface. I may be wrong but I don't think so. In that case, replacing or painting is in order.

Bleach
As ZZRV said, 50% bleach and 50% water worked great. A second application a few days later may be needed. Wear safety glasses!

Carpet Cleaing Machine
Your issue is you need to pull out the stain, just spraying it doesn't remove it permanently, just covers it up for a little part. Would start with just plain water in a spray bottle followed by the suction of the cleaning machine, once the waste water is mostly clear then use some spot shot or other carpet cleaner and vacuum it out with the carpet machine (if sudsy spray water then vacuum). You can also use a scrub brush after you spray cleaner to try to work it out. I have a Sun Voyager with the same ceiling and I speak from experience.

Not a pretty stain is it? If it was me I would try bleach water. Blot on, blot off. Maybe a google search for water stains?

Thank you. It’s not pretty & we have fought this thing for over a month. Our neighbor said it needed to dry out. We have put so much stuff on it he’s probably right. Just letting it dry out for now.
Google told me about Unique Complete - which they do not sell anymore. The company told me The Stain & Oder Eliminator has the same ingredients. We bought and tried….didn’t really help.
Hydrogen peroxide & baking soda worked the best after drying we get these brown spots that come out.
Thanks for your reply

I had a spot that wasn't that bad. I don't think you can clean that up. I removed a section of fabric between the tee strips and removed the wood panel in that section. Put up new wood and new fabric matched up great. Found fabric online purchased 5 6x6 inch samples matched it up. Takes a little time. You can't tell it was ever damaged.

Hello just my 2cents worth!
In the past I have taken clorox cleanup and powerful suction shop vac, spray the area with the clean up good and wet wait just a minute then begin drawing it out with the vacuum. It has worked amazingly for me in the past. Some actually thought I replaced the items or areas..
Also it's called the works GREEN BOTTLE! it will remove the rust stain with the same procedure as the clorox cleaup..
